Dave Bautista Says CM Punk Is Underrated As An Actor

In an interview with Buzzfeed Celeb, Dave Bautista talked about which WWE star would do well as an actor and he chose CM Punk, praising his acting talent. Punk has appeared in a few films, mostly horror, and also in the TV series Heels.

Bautista said: “You know who I think I really overlooked as an actor? I don’t know if he hasn’t pursued it as hard as he wants to because he’s still in pro wrestling, but it’s CM Punk, Phil Brooks. His potential as an actor is pretty much unlimited. I really want to see more of him as an actor. I would actually love to work with him because I think he has a passion for acting, but I think his heart is still in pro wrestling, and until he can let go of that a little bit, he’ll never be able to fully lose himself in acting, but I think Phil Brooks is a great actor.“

Bautista’s latest film, The murderer’s gamewhich also stars WWE superstar Drew McIntyre, will be in theaters from Friday, September 13.
