Razorbacks in OT with Cowboys on last second field goal, 31-31

In the era of EA College Football, the #16 Oklahoma State Cowboys game against the Arkansas Razorbacks would go down in history as an “Instant Classic”

A stunning second-half performance saw the Cowboys and Razorbacks end the game in a thrilling 31-31 tie in Stillwater, Oklahoma, ending the overtime period.

The Razorbacks jumped out to a 14-0 start in the first quarter thanks to a strong running attack. Ja’Quinden Jackson scored two touchdowns, both from five yards.

Jackson scored three times on the ground for the Hogs and was the leading rusher with 138 yards, averaging more than six yards per attempt.

The Hogs’ defense was a match for the offensive strategy.

The Razorbacks limited the Cowboys to 2.1 yards per attempt and less than 50 yards on the ground.

Ollie Gordon, the Cowboys’ Heisman-winning running back, had 34 yards on the ground and averaged 2.4 yards per attempt.

Taylen Green had an efficient first half, aside from a long pick-six from the Cowboys.

Green connected early with wideout Andrew Armstrong. Armstrong had 10 catches for 164 yards.

The Hogs scored a field goal with two seconds left in the fourth quarter to tie the score at 31-31 and send the game into overtime.
