Ice Spice & Cleotrapa’s Beef, Explained: A Complete Timeline

In Ice Spice’s short time in the spotlight, she’s seen major career success thanks to hits like “Munch” and “Barbie World” and a lot of friction thanks to rumored feuds with Cardi B and Latto. While she’s since resolved both of those issues, it looks like she’s got a new one on the way — and this time, it’s with one of her own Y2K tour traveling companions.

Cleotrapa is a New York-based artist who has had moderate success over the past year with her songs “Rockstar” and “Von Dutch.” Apparently, she knew Ice Spice well enough to add “Think U The Sh*t” rapper Cleo to her tour. However, it appears their relationship soured while they were on tour, as Cleo posted a video on her social media in which she portrayed Ice Spice as a “fake friend” who only brought her along for damage control after she reportedly had a fight with Nicki Minaj.

In the video, Cleo reveals that she wasn’t given enough time to prepare for the tour, wasn’t paid for her performances and had to pay for her own room and food, after Ice assured her she would be taken care of.

Ice responded during a chat with fans on Twitter Spaces, saying, “The scary thing about fame honestly is when someone feels like they can’t use your platform anymore or they’re not getting exactly what they want out of a situation in the way they want it… That’s when they decide to crash every time. I see a pattern.”

So, in summary, the two friends seem to have broken up because A) Ice Spice treated Cleo badly on tour, or B) Cleo had high expectations that weren’t met. Either way, they seem more interested in fighting it out in public than in private, so don’t be surprised if we see this escalate.
