Here’s When ‘The View’ Season 28 Premieres and Everything About the New Studio and Guests

The view is almost back for its 28th season!

Fans can expect to see familiar faces including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin as they delve into the latest “Hot Topics,” engage in conversation and more.

They are also moving from their longtime filming location on New York City’s Upper West Side to a new studio on Hudson Square in downtown Manhattan. The view is the first ABC project to move to Disney’s new headquarters.

The move was first hinted at in a report ahead of the Season 27 finale in early August.

The view‘s Instagram post read: “Get ready for another ‘View’ as we close this chapter after 10 years in our studio on New York City’s Upper West Side! ✨ See you in September from our new, state-of-the-art studio in downtown Manhattan when we kick off Season 28! Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at our last season photoshoot in studio TV1.”

Now, ABC has announced the upcoming season in a new promo with a preview that highlights this “big step.” A promotional clip for the show explains: “The viewis heading into another big season on ABC… and watch out, it’s also moving to a fantastic new home and studio.”

Goldberg said in the promo, “You guys know we’re moving, right?” Hostin added, “We’re moving downtown, to the newest, hippest studio that fits our hot topics.”

When does the new season start of The view air?

The view returns on September 3 at 11 a.m. ET.
