Buchholz, Hawthorne and Newberry recovered, GHS and Eastside scored overwhelming victories, Bradford and Columbia held on to defeat their eager rivals, and Fort White and Williston suffered stunning upsets.

This week, the action only heats up. Buchholz and Eastside both hit the road (Bobcats at Vero Beach), (Rams at Rickards), Union County heads to Keystone Heights in an intrigue, and Columbia faces a reigning state champion in Georgia.

In Alachua County, GHS visits Santa Fe as Newberry and Hawthorne renew their heated rivalry in one of the biggest games of the season.
