Court sets bail at GH¢200,000 for Nana Agradaa in indecent materials case


Self-proclaimed pastor Nana Agradaa appeared in court on Thursday, July 18 and was granted bail of GH¢200,000.

The court stipulated that she must provide two sureties as part of her bail conditions. The charges against her relate to possession of indecent material.

The case involves allegations that Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa, showed explicit images of a prophet on her television station, Thunder TV, which has since been rebranded as Today’s TV.

These actions apparently occurred in 2021 and Agradaa is accused of making derogatory comments about the images.

In addition, Nana Agradaa faces accusations of distributing these explicit materials by labelling them in a beverage (bitters) that was intended for sale.
