During the Facebook Live, which was filmed on July 11, Myers reportedly told viewers that he was going to “kick the f—— door in” at the ARF facility. Myers was reportedly attempting to find his dog.

“Does anyone know which f—— building the dogs are in?” Myers asked his viewers during the live video. “I’ll kick the motherf—— door in to get my f—— dog. And, I might let all the other f—— dogs out while I’m in there “B—- a– motherf—— gonna find out.”

During the live video, officials with ARF reportedly commented on the video, stating that they did not take dogs and that Myers was trespassing on the property. In video footage provided by ARF, Myers could reportedly be seen on the site, looking through glass doors and putting his hand on the door handle.

In an interview with officials with the Muncie Animal Shelter, officials confirmed that they went to a home on North Glenwood Avenue on July 11 in reference to someone calling about the condition of a dog. The dog, which was later linked to Myers, was taken from the home after the owner was not located.

The court documents said that the dog was not able to use its lower body and was dragging its legs. The dog reportedly had infected cuts, and a veterinarian advised that one of the dog’s legs needed to be amputated.

Officials called the dog’s situation “heartbreaking” and the conditions that the dog was living in were “deplorable.”

On July 12, officials with the shelter interacted with Myers at the home after they returned to see if the paperwork was still there. A shelter employee told police that Myers threatened her, stating that he would “beat (her) a– like a grown man” as well as threatened her unborn baby.

The employee told police that Myers reportedly followed her to the animal shelter in his vehicle but did not enter the shelter. Later that day, Myers reportedly came to the shelter and police used the footage to link him to the footage from ARF.
